It was a brilliant moonlit summer night like any other. The fields were illuminated under the pale light and the shadows creeped along like refugees from distant dreams. Chris and Daniel never thought twice about their late night walk around town. They'd done it dozens of times in the past. Danger never crossed their minds... it did, however, cross their path.

After one fateful encounter, the boys and their friends suddenly found themselves thrown into a mysterious war. As questions were answered, stranger riddles would surface. Monsters, insanity, sorcery, ghostly apparitions, and murder all haunt the town they had previously thought so dull and ordinary.

The first of a projected series of five, Awaken introduces the core characters to the greater story and sets up a war unlike any the world has seen. How long can the teens contain their war before it consumes the entire town?
