Although seventeen-year-old Darcy has always remembered her dreams, she's never bothered to interpret them beyond writing them down in her journal. But after a date with her boyfriend, Harley, goes horribly wrong, the only thing she wants to do is retreat into them-to the attractive boy she dreams about every night.

Soon, to Darcy's surprise, she realizes that she is able to communicate with the mysterious dream boy-Jackson, who introduces himself as Jack.
