This book began as a conversation between a husband and wife who believed that aviation could belong to everyone. It is also a tribute to persistence-showing how studying late for FAA testing prototypes and saying "yes" to difficult opportunities can open unexpected doors.

When my wife, Jeannie, encouraged me to pursue the FAA Remote Drone Pilot Certificate, the Part 107, and later the Part 137 Agricultural Operations certificate, she did more than cheer me on-she insisted that we build a company with purpose. That company is Earthwide Drones, and its mission is simple: to bring the benefits and joy of flight to communities who have not always seen themselves represented in aviation.
