Samenvatting:

Drench Me In Flowers is a poem written in response to a present I received - a shirt covered in flowers. There is a lot of repetition in this 5 stanza (8 lines per stanza) rhyming poem. The rhyme has each odd numbered line rhyme the same word while each even numbered line rhymes the same sound but a different word. Also, the poem is an 'out and back' form, meaning for me, the first 2 stanzas are mimicked (in reverse, but still using different lines) as the last 2 stanzas while the 3rd stanza is its own stand alone stanza. Each of the 8 lines of a stanza appears on its own page, divided into two parts.
