The idea for the novel came from a truly fantastic branch of science which today is highly controversial, and in breathtaking scenes of unmatched suspense, the writer traces the disappearance of the brilliant brain surgeon Dr. Zoltán Perjés, and also raises an important question: what happens when science falls into the wrong hands?
