Samenvatting:

When a personal injury lawyer and a down-and-out musician meet for the first time, it’s a fatal car accident, but then they awaken to relive the same day over and over. Plagued by strange occurrences and vague memories of the crash, they live the last day of their lives in a loop until finally, Carver Willis slams on his brakes and avoids the collision. But his relief is short-lived when he sees that the world around him has come to a complete stop.

Thrown by the incomprehensible occurrences, both men are lost until a strange man shows up and explains why they are locked in the fatal loop. But it’s not what the men want to hear. The avoidance of their death has stopped the timeline on which this version of their lives exists, and it will remain stopped until they take corrective action. Both men were meant to die in the crash.

The men must make a final decision when faced with the complicated possibilities of different dimensions and alternative universes. They must willingly die in the crash to allow their timeline to continue, or else everything they know and love will cease to exist.
