Samenvatting:

Dion was a master manipulator. It was the crème de la crème on his list of talents which lured Elizabeth into, what she thought was a marriage made in heaven. She has no reason to anticipate how dangerously entangled her life will become.

As Dion sheds the mask of his suave exterior, a monster surfaces. Elizabeth finds herself trapped in a relationship that offers nothing but lies. He is eventually diagnosed by a leading psychologist, as a treacherous sociopath, borderline narcissist, who was already addicted to alcohol and women, but Elizabeth becomes a possession he cannot live without.

She courageously tackles living the highs and lows with her unhinged husband until she can take no more and divorces him, but she learned that living alone with her children was more dangerous than living with him. Finally, he plunges her established business into financial ruin, and she is forced to take a dramatic step to solve it. Her shocking decision changes the course of her life.

A compelling tale of a marriage gone wrong.....
