H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, born in 1956, is a spiritual guru. He is the founder of the international NGO, Art of Living Foundation and has written books such as Celebrating Silence and Celebrating Love. In 1982, after being in silence for ten days, he came up with a powerful breathing technique, which is known as the Sudarshan Kriya. He founded the International Association for Human Values in Geneva in 1997. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's works have touched the lives of millions of people in more than 150 countries. He was named as the fifth most powerful leader in India by Forbes Magazine in 2009
