Historic author, Erma Peirson, reflects on her early life, beginning in the late 1890s to the late 1940s through a collection of life stories. Beginning as a Country School student to her 1908 high school graduation, and in 1919 as a pioneer teacher in a one room schoolhouse in Fallon, NV. She tells of her tenderfoot sister's Mojave adventures in 1913. After her marriage in 1922, she became a rancher with her husband in Madera, CA. The stories end with Mojave family experiences during World War Two and describing the introduction of the Television to her family home.
