Samenvatting:

This book is narrated by a boy who explains the different communities ( urban, rural, and suburban ) to his peers. Each community has their identifiable features illustrated within this picture book. This book was written by a Texas educator who originally wrote it as a poem for a social studies lesson plan in college. She decided to turn it into a book for teachers and parents so that they could have it as an introduction to the different communities around us. This book correlates with TEKS ( Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and the common core education guidelines.
