What happened between the time he left his office and the time he got home could have very well been a psychological break. After leaving the office he stopped at his local American Security bank at 2:00 pm, where he withdrew a four hundred dollars in cash. He was seen leaving the bank and heading towards the Montgomery Mall. Although, this was not the normal everyday shopping spree, Bishop bought a brand new sledgehammer and a five-gallon gas can, from Sears. On his way home from the mall he stopped at the local Texaco gas station, where he filled both his gas tank and the tank of his Station Wagon. His next stop was the local hardware store, where he bought a brand new shovel and pitchfork....and thus began his murderous spree...
