The United States and India have the mostcompleteEnglish speakers, with 283 million andone hundred twenty-fivemillion, respectively. There areadditionally108 million in Pakistan,seventy-ninemillion in Nigeria, andsixty-fourmillion in the Philippines. WhenthosewhotalkEnglish as a2ndlanguage are included, estimates of thevarietyof Anglophonesdiffergreatly, from 470 million toextrathantwobillion.
