When the Bingleys leave Hertfordshire for London, Jane is devastated. Luckily for Jane and Elizabeth, their aunt and uncle arrive and extend an invitation to both of the sisters to come to London for a visit. The Bennett sisters arrive in London just in time for the Nicholas (Christmas) season of parties where they run into Bingley and Darcy quite often.

Darcy is beside himself that his attempt to separate Bingley from Jane has been ruined by that meddling Elizabeth.
