Samenvatting:

What good will it be for someone to gain the world yet forfeit their soul? This question is explored in the gritty coming-o-age tale Wages of Sin. Joshua Matthews wants desperately to provide a better life for his family. So much so that he makes a long-term decision based on a temporary feeling. At first, he’s riding high, and life couldn’t be better.

However, a news report shatters his naive perceptions. He soon realizes his boss and coworkers are not who they present themselves to be. He tries to end this downward spiral but only seems to be digging a deeper ditch for himself. Can he escape this hell he has created, or will he pay the ultimate price and lose everything that is near and dear to him? Read and take note of what happens to Joshua, because a wise man learns from the mistakes of others.
