Mary-Ellen Low aka Sukie Low is a retired RN, author, dog lover, dog cookie baker, ukulele player and free spirit. She is also a collector of teacups, books, country music and, of course, cowgirl hats.

"Dear God...Letters from the Nursing Home" is her first book based on her nursing experiences. She has a small but popular dog cookie business called Sookie's Cookies for Dogs. Her own dogs joyfully do the taste testing! She lives in Aiken, SC with her husband, Bob, and her two rescue dogs, Cleo and Augie.

Madelyn is a sixth grade student at Tall Pines Stem Academy in Aiken, SC. She excels at all her schoolwork and enjoys reading Warrior Cats. In her extra time, she competes on the Gold team for Aiken Gymnastics and takes art classes. Madelyn is a compassionate, creative, self motivated and confident young lady with a future doing anything she can dream up. She lives with her parents, brother and 3 cats. Her favorite motto for how she approaches any project is to Trust the process.
