I am writing this book to help give awareness to others that are living with or caring for someone, with dementia. I have been caring for my dad with dementia, now, for just over 1 year. Since his diagnosis, I have done a lot of research about dementia and have found some great help in caring for him. When we found out about my dad it was a bit of a shock, but realizing that by the symptoms he was showing, it helped us to understand him and what he was going through better. I have decided that I wanted to share this with other caregivers and those that are living with this disease.
