Earth is dying. An experimental space ship leaves Earth for the outer edges of the solar system, searching for a safe route to another star system. But back on Earth the daughter of one of the crew members finds her childhood stolen from her, month by month, event by event, as the world spirals into climate-change induced destruction. Can the spaceship get back to Earth with the knowledge its politicians need to save humanity and nine year old Angela Leland? Planetfall: Childhood's End is a bridging short story that connects book 1: All Fall Down and book 2: Children of Fall (due the end of 2015). It introduces major new characters and themes to the Planetfall universe.
