Beth, the major character in this book, fully understands the limitations of motherhood but that did not discourage her from entering the science field at a young age She was ridiculed by her professors.

But she had the insight to make patterns of science ideas then execute novel experiments. She was full of ideas which were not always what was wanted by her bosses. Yet, She worked hard and gained positions in prestigious universities.

It is a story appealing to the young and older women.
