This book explores how he used the power of perception to effectuate the transformation of ancient Israel from a theocracy to a monarchy and how he currently appears to have commandeered the worldview of a large segment of the population in the United States. It also examines the role of perception in our relationships with others as well as with God. Finally, in an effort to demonstrate that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, it relates a modern-day David and Goliath story.
