The corona crisis could be a turning point to a better world. The corona pandemic seems to bring the best in people. How can we hold on to solidarity and fellowship? It has become high time for reviewing and introspection.. Isn’t man himself a bigger threat to man’s survival? This question is central in this book. Henk Zomerdijk, former journalist, former mayor and beekeeper, tries to find an answer on how to survive this cultural crisis. The corona crisis offers the chance of greening, , of a durable society but at the same time there is a risk that climate will get lower priority, as it ded after the last crisis and even bigger economic damage in the long term. People should take more responsibility for themselves, each other and the environment. It took fifty years to write this book and it has been refined and completed during the corona crisis.
