This novel commences in April of 1942 with the insertion, by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), of Captain Cliff Bauer, USMC, secret agent into Berlin for the purpose of executing Operation Zeus, the assassination of the Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler.
