Samenvatting:

James Gladden needs and edge. He wants to be President. He cannot beat a popular Vice President who even before the primaries has the election sewed up. When the Vice President dies, it is almost a godsend to his campaign. The problem is that the President picks a man from his one party that also can beat him. Gladden decides that if he is to win the Vice President must die. If it is timed right, the opposition party will not have a chance to run someone else. The problem is one of opportunity in that the Secret Service is up to the challenge. He decides to use the crowds as a weapon and to do this he must put them in a killing rage.
