The Badisches Wörterbuch [Dictionary of the Baden Dialect] documents the vernacular vocabulary of the area that constituted the former Grand Duchy of Baden, extending from Lake Constance over the Black Forest and the east bank of the Rhine to the Odenwald and the river Main near Wertheim.
