The author has interviewed abuse victims of domestic violence, child abuse, rape, bullying, stalking, and human trafficking. The para-phrased accounts in this book have come from transcriptions of live interviews conducted for research purposes. In order to protect the abuse survivors’ privacy, no actual names or locations will be used. Relevant validation quotes are included after most of the Survivor’s statements.
