This book aims to offer the reader the chance to get a real feel of what a forensic practice is like by involving them with case studies of the types of people that are evaluated. The reports in this book include cases of juvenile delinquents, adult defendants, disputing parents, sexual perpetrators, Social Security claimants and students. They reveal situations where parents with backgrounds of mental illness were granted custody of their children, and cases where they were not. Similarly, the reports include cases of allegations of sexual abuse, some deemed to be true, some false. These reports are compiled in order for the reader to absorb them and learn how to start or expand a forensic psychology practice.
