John Kevin Vasey is the co-author of The Road Trip: Life with Autism (Novalis, 2005) and the author of Living in the Eye: Life with Autism as well as poetry, articles and letters. He has provided the voice and model for characters in some of his mother's books, namely The Belvedere at Stone Gate (Borealis Press, 2013), Enigma Club (Borealis Press, 2012) and Black Springs Abbey (Red Apple Publishing, 2015). Kevin and his service dog, Juno, have a suite of rooms in his family home. They love to travel and go for walks. He is an artist in various media with a preference for abstract works.
