Are you prepared to take the next leap in your career? I mean taking the lead in changing the way your company provide products, services or other results to your customers. Because, we know for sure, that the way your company provide these products, services or results to your customers today, will change. Either the product or service itself will change, or the way you provide these products or services will change, or (I predict), it is highly likely that both previously mentioned scenarios will kick in. In order to cope with this ever-changing business environment, it will become more and more demanding for people employed in technical service organizations to deal with change. Especially for those people working closely with change management, business innovation, and the means to implement them: the projects. In this book, I draw on literature within the fields of innovation, knowledge work, systems thinking, change management, project management, portfolio management, and at the same time, I will contribute to these topics with real-life experience as a line manager, project manager and portfolio manager. I am sharing these experiences because I strongly believe that while theory is a good foundation to build upon, actual experience, should never be under-estimated.
