Preppers, sometimes referred to as survivalists, are individuals believes a disaster or emergency is likely to occur in the future and makes active preparations for it. They do this through such acts as stockpiling food, equipment, and other supplies as well as receiving additional training and practicing that training to keep their skills sharp. The book is designed to aid educators in being better prepared not only for emergencies, but also for the everyday occurrences that come with teaching children.
