The book has been described as ''heavy''. Domestic Abuse is a heavy subject. This short fiction story takes you through the motions of a toxic relationship through the eyes of a woman, who can't figure out the depth of danger she is truly in. We all know someone who decided to '' fight for love'' instead of walk away from a situation. Evol Esuba - Which means Love Abuse (backwards), is a short story I wrote to bring awareness to the issue of domestic abuse. Love is not abuse, and abuse is not love, however for some, it is easy to confuse the two. Carys Elliot is a devoted girlfriend to her boyfriend of five years Draven Brousseau. As the couple goes through the ups and downs of their relationship, someone has to draw the line on the toxicity of events. Although love is present between Carys and Draven, is this a relationship worth fighting for?
